Sessions are typically 60 to 90 minutes, held outdoors during golden hour for the most beautiful natural light. I’ll guide you gently throughout — you don’t need to know how to pose. We’ll move through the location together, and I’ll capture the real moments: the way you hold your bump, a quiet breath, the look on your face when you think no one’s watching. Those are the images you’ll keep forever.

The Burlington area has beautiful options for outdoor maternity sessions — the Champlain waterfront, open fields in Shelburne and Williston, wooded trails, and pastoral farm settings. I’m also happy to meet you on the New York side for sessions near Lake Champlain or the open meadows of the Champlain Valley. We’ll find a location that feels right for you.

I travel at no extra charge within 45 minutes of my Beekmantown studio — which includes Burlington, South Burlington, Essex Junction, and Colchester. For families in St. Albans or areas beyond that range, I’m happy to discuss a custom travel arrangement. Everything is transparent before you book — no surprises.

For most Burlington-area communities — Burlington, South Burlington, Essex Junction, Colchester — there is no additional travel fee. They fall within my standard 45-minute service area. For communities farther out, I’ll be upfront about any travel cost before you book.
The ideal window for maternity photos is between 28 and 36 weeks. I recommend booking your session date when you’re between 14 and 20 weeks pregnant so your preferred time slot is available.
Yes — I love outdoor sessions, and the Burlington area has beautiful natural settings to work with. The Champlain waterfront, open fields, and wooded areas in Chittenden County all photograph beautifully.
If weather conditions are genuinely difficult on your session day, we’ll connect and assess together. If a reschedule is needed, we’ll find a new date without any penalty. Vermont weather keeps us flexible — I understand that well.
